This is my own variation on the Bitcoin symbol, hand lettered in reclaimed slate and adorned with copper leaf. The copper has been treated with shellac so it will not tarnish.
This carving is a prime example of traditional “v-cut” lettering, as seen on monuments and public buildings, the world over. “V-cut” letters are renowned for their longevity, remaining legible hundred if not thousands of years later, and for their beauty in differing light conditions.
Note, this carving is intended to sit on a shelf and does not come with hanging hardware. If you wish to hang this carving, please contact me and I would be happy to make recommendations regarding appropriate hardware.
