The "Executive Order" artwork features the official 1933 document that enforced the gold ban. (Executive Order 6102, signed by President Roosevelt, prohibited private ownership of gold and required citizens to turn it over to the government.) In the background, the Bitcoin Whitepaper is subtly integrated, only noticeable upon closer inspection.
This highlights the contrast: Gold can be seized by governments, but Bitcoin remains untouchable - decentralized, borderless, and resistant to confiscation.
The Bitcoin Whitepaper was designed like circuit traces, realized as copper traces on a PCB. This fusion of technology and symbolism emphasizes that Bitcoin is not just an idea but a decentralized system, deeply rooted in hardware and cryptography.
